Yes to boundaries being important - even with spirit - often more so! I guess the amount of guests depends on the ‘party’ you want to have. Intimate connection with a few guests or more social with more ‘chit chat’

I usually just set one plate for the entire group I invite. Then I put out one white candle for each guest and a final candle between me and their meal to invite them to all take from the plate. It also makes it easier to invite them one at a time to sit in front of me, so I don’t get overwhelmed with too much energy. But this year, so many of my ancestors are vying for my attention, I’m not sure how I’m going to keep the guest list reasonable! I guess boundaries are important when it comes to spirits, too.
