Don’t worry about having “perfect” answers, curiosity is enough.

What does safety feel like in your body?
    (Examples: a soft belly, slow breath, warmth in the chest, relaxed jaw)

What does stress, overwhelm, or shutdown feel like in your body?
    (Examples: racing thoughts, clenched fists, shallow breath, numbness)

What are your early warning signs that your system is out of balance?
    (Examples: irritability, zoning out, rushing, people-pleasing)

When was the last time you felt deeply safe, resourced, and receptive?
    What contributed to that feeling?

This becomes your map—your guide back to yourself.

 

Daily Somatic Check-In
This is your ritual of returning.

A short, powerful pause to anchor your energy each day.

Take a few minutes to drop in with these prompts.

Let your body speak first, then write.

What am I feeling in my body right now?

What does my body need from me today?

What is one thing I can do to feel 5% safer in my body today?
    (Small steps are powerful. A breath. A boundary. A moment in the sun.)

Scent Anchor
    (e.g. rose oil, fresh mint, cinnamon)

Touch Anchor
    (e.g. hand on heart, a silk scarf, warm tea cup)

Movement Anchor
    (e.g. swaying, gentle shaking, dancing)

Sound Anchor
    (e.g. soft music, humming, chimes)

Visual Anchor
    (e.g. candle flame, altar object, green space)
